Volunteer Responsibility

Our chapter is run by its members, who each find a way to contribute their time to plan and run our services and programs. You (and/or your Associate Member) will be assigned a volunteer role when you join, and can always contact the Membership Vice President to request a change.

The club’s Board and Coordinators, not to mention all of our members, understand what you’re going through, and how that changes constantly as your home and work life changes. We’re a support group for parents, which means that we’re more interested in supporting you than in squeezing out your last remaining energy. That being said, you’re here to give that same support to other parents, and the whole thing only works if we each do our best and keep in touch about what’s possible. One year you may only be able to commit five hours in bits and snatches; but the next year you may be able to serve as our President!
